Let's talk about River Tam from Firefly and Serenity. Another ass-kicking babe, she also happens to be a genius, psychic and more than a little loopy. But hey, I love her all the same. Especially her sense of style. Grunge-tastic. It's all flowy pretty dresses, stompy boots and the odd oversize jumper thrown over it all for good measure - paired with her sweet face, wonderfully effortless hair and ability to single-handedly take down a whole load of reavers.
